"KEEP WARM , KEEP SAFE"

BE SAFE, STAY ALERT

  • LIQUID FUEL APPLIANCES:

Keep clean so your burner/boiler doesn't malfunction and also keep combustibles five [5'] or more away.

  • Solid Fuel Appliances:

Burn clean products and keep your chimney[s] clean. Keep combustibles three [3'] or more away.

  • Portable Space Heaters:

One [1] out of every ten [10] space heaters causes a fatality,
Keep the heater three [3'] feet away from furniture or other flammables. If you must use an extension cord, make sure the cord is of the heavy duty type. Never leave your space heater unattended or running while you sleep.

  • Carbon Monoxide [CO] Poisoning - " The Silent Killer":

Heating equipment is the leading cause of CO incidents. Nicoles's Law requires CO detectors on every livable level in a home.

  • Fire Safety Basics: Be sure to cover the fire safety basics
